What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a system that accomplishes the same thing that traditional braces do—straightens your teeth—without relying on obvious metal wires and brackets. Instead, it uses clear, plastic aligners. These aligners are custom made to fit your anatomy, allowing them to fit perfectly and invisibly.
Every two weeks, you move to the next in your series of aligners. Each aligner moves your teeth a little bit more until they are in the ideal position. For most patients, treatment will last around one year. This is the ideal form of treatment for anyone who is worried about how they will look with braces.
